INTERIOR DESIGN. common areas
Here I represent Interior design of an office building I made for Transervis company in Novosibirsk.
Space planning responsibilities include: developing the concept, preparing full working drawings, selection of finishing materials, designing units, suite specifications, common area design and restrooms. I was responsible for overseeing the day to day design oriented activities of the project including being on-site during construction and ongoing coordination with other departments.

Following standard patterns may not be the only way to reach an aim. Qualitatively different results could be achieved by reviewing conventional clichés and leaving the comfort zone. Working out does not need to be a challenge, when designed as a thorough communication between the body and consciousness. As I was working on the conception of the design of this fitness center, I was thinking about this approach.
The novel Solaris is one of Lem’s philosophic explorations of man’s anthropomorphic limitations. Solaris is almost completely covered with a blue and pink ocean that is revealed to be a single, planet-encompassing organism, where waves are the equivalents of muscle contractions and complicated carbon structures on its surface are the results of its intellectual activity.
This concept was not entirely implemented, but it was a great experience to work on this idea.
